During this time, teams will be installing a pair of higher capacity firewalls in response to the service incident experienced on 20 October 2020. Given the nature of the work, there may be some downtime associated with this activity, and so this maintenance window has been planned for the lowest period of transaction volumes for our global customers.

The impact of the present incident continues to be that a high number of 3-DSecure transactions failing with status Unavailable. This incident continues to impact both 1.x and EMV3DS transactions.

Resolved - We observed a period of service degradation between 06:55 GMT and 07:14 GMT, 19 October 2020 where fewer than usual card holder transactions were received by Arcot for Issuers - ACS.

The traffic resumed normal volume at 07:14 GMT.

No further anomalies have been observed since and Arcot will share more details about the problem in due course.

Identified - We confirm that our internal team has identified a problem related to one of our internal application components and they are working on priority to have the service restored. This incident is impacting all EMV3DS transaction processing by our server and all 3-D Secure 1.x transactions continue to be unimpacted.
